The upcoming legalization of marijuana for medical or recreational purposes will create lot of new jobs and business opportunities and will facilitate the conduct of more exhaustive, longer term clinical studies. Avoiding abuses in its consumption requires a high level of awareness in the general population about the pro’s and contra’s of the cannabis use and its limitations.

As co-organizers of the Montreal Medical Marijuana Meeting we feel that this subject is still quite controversial and stigmatized. Due to lack of reliable information and the active implication of different interests groups, it is still not clear can we trust everything that we read on-line, and there is not enough  independent data from large scale and long term randomized clinical studies.

cannabis-caThe objective of the Montreal Medical Marijuana Meeting this Thursday, Dec. 8-th, is to bring together qualified and experienced professionals from this emerging field and discuss all facets of this interesting topic. The meeting is open also to general public. The Early birds registration expires on midday Dec. 6, 2016 .
